"Radiometric Dating" - The Home Game

Pick a date - Any date will do!

The backbone (pun intended) of modern Paleontology is a pseudo-scientific process known as Radiometric Dating; a "technique used to date materials such as rocks, usually based on a comparison between the observed abundance of a naturally occurring radioactive isotope and its decay products, using known decay rates. In last week's blog we lampooned the inherent flaw of the most popular trace element Carbon 14.

This week we aim our Whammo Air-Blaster of truth on the next layer of this house of cards - the Radiometric Date itself. So gather 'round, everyone can play.

INSTRUCTIONS: (1)DATE THE ROCK BY THE FOSSIL. (2)IF THAT FAILS - DATE THE FOSSIL BY THE ROCK. (3)REPEAT UNTIL SATISFIED.

This is the exact circular logic that our most esteemed museums use to date their exhibits.

Put your faith in God's inspired word!
